The US Customs Strengthen the Inspections on Branded Products

According to the notice from DHL, the US customs has strengthened the inspection on imported parcels about branded products.  

If parcels found issues like trade mark infringement, false declaration or underreported, it won’t be able to complete the customs clearance and get fined. Meanwhile, the parcel receiver might be blacklisted by the US Customs. So, DHL will carry on a more stringent inspection and reject parcels with trade mark infringement issue.

Recently, when shipping branded products, risk of being checked and detained by US Customs is increasing for all international logistics lines.
